World exchanges open and close in different time zones. Northern Cyprus and Turkey use UTC+3 all year and do not change their clocks, so the gap to US and European exchanges shifts during the year.

What is the US market in Northern Cyprus time?
- During US summer time the NYSE/NASDAQ regular session is about 16:30 – 23:00 Northern Cyprus time.
- During US winter time it is about 17:30 – 00:00.
The US also has a pre-market (04:00 – 09:30 New York) and an after-hours session (16:00 – 20:00 New York); liquidity is thin and spreads are wide.
Markets that run around the clock
- Crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum and others) trades 24/7, weekends included.
- Gold, silver and oil futures trade almost continuously on weekdays with a break of about 1 hour a day and are closed at weekends.
- Foreign exchange is open 24 hours on weekdays.
